Bonus Ball Syndicate

(Alpha-1 UK Support Group Mailing List Members Only)

To help raise much needed funds for our Support Group it was proposed by one of our members to introduce a syndicate giving members the opportunity to win a weekly sum of money utilising Saturdays UK National Lotto draw bonus ball.

How does it work?

Bonus Ball numbers 1 to 49 will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and members will be notified each weekend of the winning bonus ball number from Saturdays UK National Lotto draw.

How much will I win?

The weekly prize fund is currently set at £20. If it is not won the following weeks prize fund increases by £10 to £30 and so on until there is a winner.

What does it cost?

The cost of taking part in the syndicate is £1.00 per week per number from a date specified by the committee. Subject to demand it will be acceptable for members to choose more than one number if they so wish.

How do I make payment?

To make it easier to control payments the committee has decided to split the year into four periods of 13 weeks with all members’ payments due on the same date. If a member joins the syndicate part way through a 13 week period the amount due will be reduced by the number of weeks completed so that all members’ payments are due at the start of the next period.

There are currently a number of methods of payments which are acceptable as follows: -

Standing Order

Direct Debit

Bank Transfer

Cheque

PayPal

When you have selected your method of payment please calculate the amount payable based on a 13 week period (£13.00) from a date specified by the committee. If you decide to set up a Standing Order/Direct Debit it will be acceptable to reduce the period and pay fortnightly or monthly providing it covers the 13 week period.

Who do I make payments to?

Details for payments can be obtained from: -

john.mugford@googlemail.com

Or one of the following Committee Members

John Doyle

Christine Torrance

Linda Cooke

Bev Burroughs

What happens to surplus monies?

All surplus money from the syndicate helps towards flowers, cards etc when members are ill in hospital or at home and also subsidising annual meetings.

All other enquiries.
